Rutgar and Cuja Lulla Belle
Along with two grown-up children, Emily and Gustav are proud of the latest additions to their family.
We had decided we wanted a small, quiet, mellow, low maintenance dog. Someone completely different from the dogs we'd had before. Small and different we got, in fact, very different. Half Jack Russell and half Dachshund, high maintenance, high energy, head too big, back too long, legs too short with front feet too large that stick out at right angles from his body. Rescued by friends who heard we were looking for a little dog, they brought him to us. The moment we saw the funny looking pup trotting down the path to our door, we knew he had come to stay.

Mr. Rutgar is now two years old and we sometimes wonder, who rescued whom? He has become such a part of our lives that we can't imagine a day without him. He and our old kitty, Cuja Lula Belle have become fast friends and together they have become the motivation for our new business venture, Plume 'n Tails.
