Guarantees and Warranties
Furniture may not be exactly as illustrated. Because of the uniqueness of our products, no two will be exactly alike. The materials used (wood, finishes, hardware, and customizing) will be as described when ordering. Upon delivery, we guarantee the workmanship on our pet furniture to our highest standards. However, we cannot be responsible for furniture that warps or splits if it is placed too near a heat source, or in an area where it is exposed to extreme changes in environmental temperatures or is used for purposes other than its original stated use.
Plume 'n Tails is not responsible for the manner and method of customer use of our products.

Plume 'n Tails has tried to the best of its ability to accurately display the finishes on its pet furniture on its web pages. The actual colours you see will depend on your monitor and may not be accurate.
Custom Made Items
Custom orders cannot be exchanged or returned. This includes personalization of our products of any kind.
Shipping for Custom Made Items
We make these to order. Upon your purchase, delivery can take up to 12 weeks. Customers should allow additional shipping time for these items as shipping times are subject to change. Customers have 24 hours from the time of purchase to cancel or change a made–to–order item. We cannot accept returns/exchanges for personalized or custom made items.
Defective or Damaged Items
If an item is defective, or you wish to return the item, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving the purchased item. We reserve the right to determine whether or not an item is defective. All items returned to us must be in unused condition and in their original packaging and must be sent back to us via an insured method, such as Fedex, Purolator or UPS with a tracking number. The customer is responsible for the original and return shipping charges on all returns and exchanges. We do not accept any returns via COD.
Returns/Exchanges
The following conditions apply to all returns and exchanges:
- We cannot give returns or exchanges for items lost or damaged during original or return shipping. If an item is damaged during shipping, it is the customer's responsibility to notify us and the shipping company within 24 hours of receipt of the item. All returned items must be sent back, with receipts via insured methods, such as Fedex, Purolator or USPS Insured.
- To return or exchange a product, contact us. We will do our best to answer your questions and resolve the situation as quickly and as courteously as possible. Returned merchandise can only be exchanged or returned for credit. If you are not satisfied with your product for any reason, you may return it within fifteen (15) days of receipt for an exchange or credit good for one year.
